A Look into Foolie $urfin and Jus Lovehall's album 'Stay Safe'

Foolie $urfin and Jus Lovehall, a power duo also collaborating under the title DONTYOUTELLNOBODY, released their first full length EP Stay Safe on Dec. 19. The project is composed of 14 tracks that would get even the stiffest of souls up and groovin’, with vocal features from Master Soul Boy, Tekowa Lakica, and Dave Hirsh and additional production from Master Soul Boy, Dave Hirsh, Uncommenn, and Mont Metri.

Kentucky native Foolie $urfin, aka Charles Lenford Jr., has been making power moves as an up-and-coming producer, currently a part of both the Bonsi and WISHNOMORE Collectives and having released two solo projects in two years. His most recent EP, All of Me, dropped earlier this year and included collaborations from Lucid Monday friend chromonicci and other notable talents like idntrmbr, Just Adam, and Galimatias.

As if his extensive talent in production was not enough, Lenford is also a brilliant artist, engineer, and thrower for the University of Kentucky’s track team. The hype around Lenford has continued to build with legendary producer Kenny Beats giving him major props on his Twitch Stream, declaring Foolie as one of his favorite new producers and announcing an upcoming Foolie linkup/stream.
