Still buzzing off the release of his masterpiece album RIPPLS, that included features from the likes of Duckwrth, Naomi Wild, Cautious Clay and more, Medasin has just officially released one of his most sought-after IDs, his remake of Toto’s classic hit “Africa”.
A “gigantic slaperoni” as he called it on social media, “Africa” was highly anticipated by listeners, as Medasin has been playing it out a lot on his live shows, as well as teased it on his Twitch stream a couple of months ago. His signature drum work and sound design are laced all over the track, while the forward-thinking producer does an amazing job of flipping this classic, proving once again he is truly in his own lane.
