Akachi Produces New Single “Off-White” for NGeeYL and Lil Uzi Vert

Akachi brings the stand out GloGang trap sound on NGeeYL’s new single “Off-White” feat. Lil Uzi Vert. While categorizing the beat as trap comes easily, the actual production behind “Off-White” is very complex and creative, making the listener feel powerful with images of wealth, friends, and hype parties coming to mind.

Akachi, whose real name is Hunter Addison, is currently 23 years old. He is officially affiliated with Chief Keef’s label, GloGang. According to an interview he did with Burbsent, Akachi has been producing music since 2012, and his influences growing up included the likes of Jeezy and Gucci Mane. He mainly makes trap influenced beats, while also showing his diversity as a musician through producing in a variety of genres such as pop, R&B, and dancehall.

The Cape Cod, Massachusetts native has previously worked with artists like Chief Keef, Joey Trap, Gucci Mane, TOKYO’S REVENGE, Famous Dex, Soulja Boy, UnoTheActivist, Thouxanbanfauni, and more. Recently, Akachi shouted out TM88 on Twitter, so it will be exciting to see what the two cook up in the future, as well as watching Akachi’s career continue to grow and prosper.
