Alex Lustig Curates Mesmerizing, Liquid D&B Vibes On “Neo” Alongside SUMIN
Directly following this earlier 2023 single “Fade,” which saw him team up with Sølv to create an immersive dance anthem, Alex Lustig has unveiled yet another auditory gem with his brand new single.
Titled “Neo” and featuring an ethereal vocal performance from multidisciplinary artist SUMIN, Alex Lustig’s new stunner finds the producer step in a jungle and drum & bass-infused direction. Juxtaposing hectic drum lines and smooth synth pads, “Neo” makes for yet another stunning showcase of Alex Lustig’s mesmerizing production style.
“Neo,” which translates to “you” in Korean, is taken to the next level by SUMIN’s soothing singing in English and Korean. It is slated to appear on Alex Lustig’s forthcoming album Fate (B-Sides), the followup to 2022’s Fate, which will find the visionary producer exploring a rather upbeat spin on his usually ambient creations.
“I love blending genres and coming out with something new. I wanted to mix jungle / dnb with my ambient sound and bringing a new sound that still connected with me. I love having a deep meditative sound but yet still have energy with the drums,” said Alex Lustig.
