Visual artist and DJ KO Aka Koala just released her debut single “Sadderday”, enlisting the talented Alex Lustig on the production. Based in LA for the past couple of years, KO Aka Koala has been staying active in a lot of creative fields including fashion and music, and is now ready to fully take the leap into her music career as a vocalist with “Sadderday”.
Coming out with a visually stunning music video, “Sadderday” is an atmospheric trap/pop masterpiece; KO Aka Koala’s heavily autotuned vocals and flows ride the instrumental perfectly, courtesy of tastemaker Alex Lustig. Over the past few years, the forward-thinking producer been consistently showcasing his melodic, emotional and sometimes even ambient music, enlisting established talents such as Ayelle, Akacia and Mark Mikkael.
Alex Lustig has also lent his production talents to massive artists behind the scene, having production credits for the likes of Baka Not Nice, Alonzo, French Montana and more recently, producing two tracks off PARTYNEXTDOOR’s PARTYMOBILE album, out via Drake’s OVO Sound.
