BNYX Manifested The Travis Scott & Drake ‘Utopia’ Collab On April Fools 2022

Travis Scott’s highly-anticipated fourth album UTOPIA just dropped, and it makes for a massive moment for BNYX, who has carefully positioned himself as one of hip-hop’s most exciting producers over the past couple of years.

On top of co-producing the album’s Bad Bunny and The Weeknd-assisted lead single “K-POP” alongside Boi1da, Illangelo and Jahaan Sweet, BNYX also landed on another song off UTOPIA with a sample many of his most loyal fans instantly recognized.

BNYX is well known for his entertaining Twitter antics, one of which was an April fools joke he posted back in 2022. The short video included a beat he made, captioned as a collaboration with Drake, Travis Scott, Yeat and Metro Boomin. Over a year later, that sample landed on an actual Travis Scott and Drake song, UTOPIA’s “MELTDOWN,” seeing BNYX almost manifest one of his biggest placements to date.

BNYX first collaborated with Travis Scott earlier this year, when he co-produced “Aye” off Lil Uzi Vert’s recent Pink Tape project. He recently landed his first Drake feature as well with co-production on his single “Search & Rescue,” before being enlisted by 40 to help executively produce for Drake’s 2023 arena shows.

On top of all his recent acclaim, BNYX is branching out to dance music, co-producing a collaboration between Steve Aoki and Kid Cudi which was recently premiered at Tomorrowland.

Lucid Monday recently flew to Philadelphia to shoot the first edition of Lucid Monday CRBS featuring BNYX, as well as spotlight a day in his life.
