Bonobo Unveils Stunning New Album 'Fragments'
Following a string of singles throughout 2021, widely celebrated producer Bonobo has finally returned with his latest album, Fragments. Spanning over 12 songs, the immersive project follows Bonobo’s 2017-released Migration, and continues building on his ambient, organic and multi-textured sonic aesthetic.
Lost between intimate, deep house sounds and ethereal, downtempo gems, listeners are bound to be enchanted by the sound of Fragments. Tracks such as “Rosewood” and “Otomo” featuring O’Flynn are filled with everlasting grooves, while “Tides” featuring Jamilla Woods and “From You” alongside Joji make up for soothing, laid-back cuts.
Bonobo has been active in the scene for over two decades now, and is considered amongst the major contributors to today’s chill-out and ambient musical landscape. He has received three Grammy nominations to date, and remixed the likes of Gorillaz, London Grammar, Michael Kiwanuka and more.
With Fragments being the symbol of trials, isolation and - ultimately - hope- we’re more than excited to see where Bonobo takes things next.
