camoufly Kickstarts A New Era With Shiny ‘In Plain Sight’ EP
It’s a new creative chapter for camoufly, who has finally returned with his fourth EP.
Titled In Plain Sight, camoufly’s latest project follows Apotheosis, The Giant and Faith, a playful trilogy of EPs that introduced camoufly’s creative and sparkly sound to the world, as well as a number of prestigious remixes for the likes of Manila Killa, Jimi Somewhere and Tsu Nami.
Having built an engaged and vibrant fanbase, while capturing massive attention with his NFT drops on Sound.xyz, among them “FROM THE START” alongside sober rob, the anonymous producer is red-hot in 2023, and ready to usher in a new era with In Plain Sight.
Featuring “Kaleidoscope (Me&U)” in collaboration with Alexander Lewis, which also sold for a total of 1.55 ETH on Sound.xyz, as well as a number of fresh solo works, In Plain Sight might arguably be one of camoufly’s most inventive works to date.
“this is the best music i've EVER dropped, case closed,” said the producer in a recent tweet, a sentiment that shines through the EP’s ethereal and delicate productions. “every single song is my favorite, it's been the hardest thing even just deciding which ones had to be singles and which ones not.”
“Earthbound,” the second single off In Plain Sight, was unveiled two weeks ahead of the full project and displays camoufly at his very best with its uplifting vocal samples, shiny synth lines and groovy percussive elements. “Always” makes for an undisputed EP highlight with its irresistible vocal lines and warm bass, while “Baby” juxtaposes washed-out atmospheres and illustrious melodies for a truly stunning result.
