Dilip & Yo Boii Trey Produce “Engineer Scared” Off Drakeo the Ruler’s New Album 'The Truth Hurts'
Coming in to showcase their production talents once again, Dilip and Yo Boii Trey have just produced track 7, “Engineer Scared,” off Drakeo the Ruler’s brand new project The Truth Hurts. A massive album, that follows his 15-track work Because Yall Asked, The Truth Hurts includes huge features from Drake, Don Toliver, Pressa and more. Dilip and Yo Boii Trey’s work on “Engineer Scared,” which features verses from Krispy Life Kidd and Ketchy the Great, is stellar, as they perfectly capture the essence of the west coast sound, bringing together banging 808s and infectious melodies to craft a hard-hitting beat.
A massively versatile producer, Dilip began releasing music on SoundCloud back in 2015, and quickly went from newcomer to producing for stars such as Tay-K, Lil Skies, Lil Pump and Soulja Boy. He is a longtime Lucid Monday mainstay, teaming up with fellow LM friend otxhello to form late year, and releasing their self-titled debut album earlier this year. Yo Boii Trey on the other hand is one of the fastest rising names in the game, most recently producing “Float” by GoGetta.Kb, hitting his first million streams on SoundCloud.
