Dilip, WondaGurl & Berg Unite For Mesmerizing Single “cold blooded”
Following a worldwide tour, that included a number of sessions and shows in Tokyo, Paris, Milan, and London, Dilip, WondaGurl and Berg have just united to unveil “cold blooded.”
Dilip is still buzzing off his recent single “Cola Coca” alongside Zelooperz and Kenny Mason, while WondaGurl recently landed herself a number of collaborations with Travis Scott on his celebrated album UTOPIA, his first in five years. Berg has had a massive 2023 so far as well, recently working alongside Mick Jenkins on five tracks off his recent album, The Patience.
A soothing yet chaotic instrumental single that nicely combines all three artists’ respective talents, “cold blooded” is as vibrant as the environment it was created in. According to Dilip, the three talents started the track about a year ago, and periodically came back to it to add more elements until it was complete. The initial idea came from him turning a recording of a live symphony into a sample, which then WondaGurl pitched around flipped, before they continued working on it to perfection.
The result is equal parts hard-hitting and introspective, laced with shiny sounds, unique samples and a progression that keeps listeners on their toes all throughout.
