“Leave” - Gareth Donkin [Exclusive Spotlight]

Marking Lucid Monday’s debut Exclusive Spotlight, young talent Gareth Donkin returns with his second release for 2020, offering yet another soulful vibe with “Leave”. The artist, who turned 20 back in December 2019 and celebrated that with a short SoundCloud mix filled with original music, writes and produces all his songs, while also being proficient in a number of instruments. 

“Leave” is one οf the multi-talent’s most exciting releases to date. Distant chords kick off the instrumental, before Gareth Donkin smooth vocals take over. The production is filled with lush chords and guitar melodies, perfectly layered under groovy drums, making up for a soulful gem worth replaying.
