A&R Keefa Black Launches Producer-Focused SOAL Entertainment
Keefa Black who is an A&R at Atlantic Records just launched a platform of his own called SOAL Entertainment. With SOAL, he plans to give underground producers/artists a chance to be heard.
In an Instagram post made by him earlier, he said that he is “Giving you a chance to keep sending beats/demos/loops/etc.”
Keefa started his journey by being an A&R and along the way discovered the likes of Roddy Ricch. He is now looking forward to discovering more musicians on a more personal level through SOAL. He has already begun his weekly Instagram live via @soalent to check out the submissions being sent to him.
Further explaining his venture, he wrote “SOAL Entertainment will be broadcasting and hosting weekly IG LIVE music sessions creating a platform for all producers/artist to showcase their talents and most importantly.. TO BE HEARD.
Often times A&Rs/ managers emails are drowned out in an abundance of various songs,demos,melodies,loops, chord professions, etc. making it hard to respond to them all. In this ecosystem artist and producers will be given a chance to not only showcase as well as be posted on the page, but most importantly the opportunity to BE HEARD 🔊🔊 & who knows, maybe even go on to work with some of the most Prolific artist of our generation.. 🏆”
