late year Present Stunning Sophomore Album, ‘002’
Long-time collaborators Dilip and Otxhello unveiled their anticipated joint project late year in late 2020, with their debut, self-titled album released in early 2021 to massive acclaim. Smoothly showcasing their genre-bending and vibrant sound, late year the album masterfully brought together the two talented artists’ respective styles, an endeavor they have now managed to take a step further with their sophomore project, 002.
Spanning 7 tracks in length, 002 does an incredible job at bringing together sparkly synth work with immersive orchestral sections, while unmatched incredible versatility and artistic maturity. While tracks such as “pursuit *’-‘**” and “balance⇑⤄⤊” do an amazing job at taking listeners on ethereal auditory journeys with their organic instrumentation, lead single “i have an idea ?<“” and the mesmerizing “stunt ∼&$@“ are hard-hitting yet multi-layered bangers. “bumble +^^” on the other hand is a stunning jazz-funk piece, juxtaposing the futuristic sound design and arrangement of the explosive closer “ascending /\\\'/\."
