"Messed Up" – Verzache
Canadian producer and artist Verzache just released his first single “Messed Up” off of his upcoming album, My Head Is a Mosh Pit.
Zach Farache has been producing since 2014, cultivating his own specific style in the SoundCloud scene. Considered a pioneer in the modern experimental acoustic genre, the 22-year-old has continuously released music with an ambivalent sound. Soft ukuleles, flutes, and guitars mixed with hip-hop influences and Farache’s clean electronic production create a comforting, familiar atmosphere in all of his tracks.
“All messed up, a little mad,” Farache sings as the song opens, with a few gentle strums of his guitar before merging into rather high-energy beats. His distress-filled lyrics seem confessional, compounding the feeling of his more intimate, singer-songwriter-type voice.
Even though his last album Thought Pool was released in 2018, Farache has not taken any time off. From starting the year with his single “Talk,” to writing “Life Inside,” his ode to a new socially-distanced norm, plus his feature on “In My Eyes,” a single from ford.‘s new album, The Color of Nothing, Verzache is in bloom.
