Moore Kismet Makes A Grandiose Statement With Debut Album ‘UNIVERSE’

Following an exciting series of singles that have been nothing but impressive, among them the radio-ready “Parallel Heartbreak” with Pauline Herr and the mind-bending “Flourish” with long-time collaborator Laxcity, Moore Kismet has finally unveiled their debut album UNIVERSE in full, shattering expectations while telling a personal story of acceptance, love, chaos and unity.

The 17-year-old Black, non-binary and pansexual producer put out their debut EP via Never Say Die at 14 years old, something which only preceded a lot more record-breaking releases and performances, with their upcoming set at Tomorrowland 2022 slated to make them the youngest performer in the festival's history.

UNIVERSE, which has just been released via Thrive Music, spans over 17 tracks and features a diverse cast of featured artists, such as Tasha Baxter, TYGKO, Chuck Sutton, Summet and more. The handful of previously released singles from the project are perfectly reinforced into the tracklist, while new songs such as “See You Go” with Courtney Paige Nelson and “Ultraviolet” with Chuck Sutton and COOKIE. make up for perfect displays of Moore Kismet’s genre-bending and immersive style.

“'UNIVERSE' is a musical culmination of my life experiences, growth as a human being, and artist over the past 17 years of my life. For 5 years (2018-2022), I spent countless days and sleepless nights working on what I would consider to be the best Moore Kismet project to date. It’s an album about acceptance, love, chaos, unity, and figuring out your life while trying to live it. If there was any project I’ve ever made for this project that serves as the best retelling of my life, 'UNIVERSE' is that album,” said Moore Kismet.
