Mr. Carmack and Family Reunions Team Up to Create 'You Are Not Alone' Charity Livestream Raising Awareness for Suicide Prevention
Our communities are in a state of mental health crisis. As the conversation surrounding the stigmatization of mental health began to open up last year, COVID-19 left us unable to gather and support each other. Undoubtedly, isolation has only compounded the effects of our declining mental health––however, you are not alone.
Mr. Carmack has been thinking of a way to create an engaging event where we can spend the day in conversation surrounding mental illness and honor the lives we have lost to suicide.
On Saturday, February 27th, join Mr. Carmack & Family in a Virtual Mental Health Benefit, streaming live on Twitch from 12:00pm to 12:00am. Sets from many musical guests in combination with spoken word performers, soundhealers, and mental health professionals will give us the ability to learn, share, and enjoy the passion and talents of others in the best way we can right now.
Mr. Carmack & Family have teamed up with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention to raise money for mental health education, the advocation of public policies in mental health and suicide awareness, and support for people who have lost loved ones to suicide. Merchandise by Family Reunions will be available, with a portion of the proceeds going towards a non-profit organization.
