Multi-Platinum Producer Nami Ventures Into Interior Design With New Brand 'MAISON ONDAS'

Over the past couple of years, 20-year-old producer Nami has established himself as a true creative powerhouse. Hailing from Santiago, Cape Verde, the multi-platinum and Grammy-nominated producer holds a diverse skillset, which ranges from sound design and sample making to songwriting and production, and has resulted in collaborations with the likes of Ariana Grande, Cordae, Russ, Jack Harlow, Aminé and many more.

Anyone who has been following Nami for some time now, can tell how passionate he is about furniture design and all things creative. Now, he has fully realized his creative passion into a fully-fledged brand, launching MAISON ONDAS.

All about “design, sound & (more importantly) community,” MAISON ONDAS signals Nami’s official foray into this exciting new creative avenue. Its first drop, with help from talented artist Alec Perez, features the “Helena” chair in a white bouclé, sheep-fur-inspired fabric, and the “Helena” canapé in white leather and chenille orange.

“Excited to finally announce this new chapter I’m stepping into. Furniture design has been a evergrowing passion of mine and this project is a product of my very first sketches after deciding to move forward on my aspirations late last year,” explained Nami in a post on Instagram about MAISON ONDAS.

“The ‘Helena’ chair, named after my mother, features a boucle / sheep fur inspired fabric throughout the body and dark mahogany wood for the legs. The “Canapé” version (view in next post), is a modular 6 seater sofa with a ottoman. Intimate yet bold, will work in your living room or in a personal office setting. The ideal designer approach to comfort.”
