Sam Gellaitry Unveils Ethereal New Single “New Wave” Alongside Genesis NFT Drop Via sound.xyz
One of the most prolific producers to emerge within the music production and beat-making scene over the 2010s, Sam Gellaitry's career took a surprising turn last year after he made his debut as a singer and songwriter, and signed to Parlophone Records. Funky dance single “Duo” led to his latest EP IV, while he has now retuned with yet another infectious single, “New Wave.”
Following his late 2021 single “Gullible,” “New Wave” seems to be part of an upcoming project Sam Gellaitry might be gearing up to drop later this year, while doing an amazing job at fleshing out his exciting new sound even further. An 80’s inspired track, filled with hard-hitting drums and heavenly melodies, “New Wave” touches on the pressures young people face while transitioning from the innocence of their childhood into a party-filled adulthood.
“New Wave” also marked Sam Gellaitry’s first music NFT, being released on sound.xyz with its 80 editions selling out for 0.1 ETH each, netting the Scottish musician a total of $20,681 at the time of writing.
