Skrillex Unites With Pink with PinkPantheress & Trippie Redd For “Way Back”
Fresh off the colossal success of “Rumble,” one of the most highly-anticipated electronic music IDs of the past 6 months, Skrillex is adding fuel to the fire with “Way Back.” Joining forces with PinkPantheress and Trippie Redd, Skrillex’s second single of the year is equally as massive, and boasts production as eclectic as its collaborators.
Short-yet-sweet, “Way Back” is a soft drum & bass cut, as perfect for carefree dancefloor moments as it is for the radio waves. PinkPantheress and Trippie Redd nicely display their vocal chemistry, while Skrillex’s production is summery and detailed, filled with heavenly melodies, warm basslines and playful moments.
“Way Back” is co-produced alongside Rex Kudo, Danny L Harle, Sir Dylan and PinkPantheress, and the second time Skrillex crosses paths with the English singer and songwriter, following his contributions to her late 2022 single “Where you are” alongside Mura Masa.
