Spotlighting Our Favorite Producers On Drake & 21 Savage’s ‘Her Loss’

Swiftly following up on their “Jimmy Crooks” collaboration off Honestly, Nevermind, Drake and 21 Savage have just unveiled their collaborative album, Her Loss. Featuring 13 collaborations, alongside three solo Drake songs and one solo 21 Savage song, Her Loss is magnetic and explosive, while featuring a colossal lineup of producers. Here are some of our favorites who contributed to the sound of the record.

Rio Leyva

At just 20 years old, Rio Leyva has accrued over 1 billion collective streams across his production catalog. Signed to Internet Money, he is heavily active on YouTube, while his production credits include The Kid LAROI, Yeat, Lil Mosey, Lil Tecca, 24kGoldn and many more.

Boi-1da

Production credits on “Treacherous Twins” and “Circo Loco”

One of Toronto’s most iconic names within music production, Boi-1da has extensively worked alongside Drake, while helping produce monumental hits such as Rihanna’s work, on top of multiple collaborations with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Travis Scott and more. He has been nominated for a Grammy Award 15 times, and had his first win in early 2019 as part of Drake’s “God’s Plan.”

Nyan

Production credits on “Hours In Silence”

Producing “Hours In Silence” alongside Mcevoy, 40, Noel Cadastre and Daniel East has to be one of Nyan’s biggest achievements to date. The up-and-coming producer and vocalist landed on Drake’s Honestly Nevermind earlier this year, as well as co-produced DJ Khaled’s “Staying Alive” single featuring the Toronto rapper and Lil Baby. Nyan has also been building an extensive discography as a solo artist since 2019, filled with hazy, melodic R&B and hip-hop gems.

Dez Wright

Production credits on “BackOutsideBoyz”

One way or another, Dez Wright has landed on almost all Drake projects over the past years, while producing “BackOutsideBoyz” off Her Loss with Taz Taylor, Rio Leyva and Lil Yachty. He has also co-produced for the likes of Baby Keem, Kendrick Lamar, The Kid LAROI, Trippie Redd, Lil Skies, Lil Uzi Vert and many more.
