Spotlighting Our Favorite Producers On RIZ LA VIE’s ‘Haven’
Three years in the making, RIZ LA VIE’s debut album is has finally arrived, featuring contributions from a diverse cast of producers and writers, while seeing the unique artist undoubtedly break new creative ground. Hazy guitars, distorted drums and heavenly melodies embellish the record from start to finish, which spans 15 tracks in length and features a guest appearance from Johan Lenox. Here are our favorite producers who contributed to the exciting sound of the record.
Dan Hartzog
Production credits on “Marcel,” “No Doubt,” “Nitrite (casino royale),” “Little Planets” and “Go Again”
One of RIZ LA VIE’s closest producers, Dan Hartzog has been working with the visionary artist since his very early days, with production credits that date back to his official debut EP, Found. On top of extensively contributing to RIZ LA VIE’s pioneering sound over the past years, Dan Hartzog has worked alongside the likes of 6 Dogs and Pardyalone, as well as mixed and mastered SoFaygo’s 2020 project After Me.
Abner
Production credits on “Audi,” “Marcel,” “Ganni,” “(H)LA,” “Trance” and “Haven”
With production on multiple tracks off Haven, as well as vocal mixing credits on “Audi” and “Trance,” Abner makes his big breakthrough as a producer. He wrapped up 2022 by joining RIZ LA VIE on a massive tour across the US, and is gearing up to share a lot of solo music in 2023, as well as a number of productions for rising talent Maki Adams.
Otxhello
Production credits on “Go Again”
Otxhello teamed up with Danny Wolf, Kito and Dan Hartzog on “Go Again,” which wraps up the project in a truly stunning way. Based in Los Angeles, the acclaimed producer holds an extensive solo discography, shares experimental electronic music alongside Dilip as late year, and has contributed to songs from the likes of Juice WRLD, Lil Skies, Lil Tecca and many more.
