Spotlighting The Producers on Ski Mask The Slump God’s 'Sin City'

After almost three years of a few single drops and no albums, Ski Mask The Slump God is finally back for good, sharing his latest mixtape Sin City. Allegedly the first of three projects Ski is expected to release this year, Sin City is inspired by Frank Miller’s comic book series of the same name, and its 2005 film adaptation, which is one of Ski’s favourite movies. Spanning over 9 tracks, Sin City impressively is a completely solo-performed record with no features, while bridging together a cast of established and rising producers, who we’d love to showcase for you.

Slice
Production credits on “Dr. Suess,” “Ya!,” and “Fire Hazard”

Slice has had an impressive come-up over the past year, having worked with the likes of Youngboy NBA, Gunna, Young Thug, Lil Keed, and DJ Scheme. Most notably, he is credited with producing “Yessirski” on the recent Slime Language 2 album, and has recording engineer credits on multiple albums, including the joint Lil Baby and Lil Durk project The Voice of The Heroes

TwoFive
Production credits on “ADMIT IT”

Producing “ADMIT IT” alongside Ronny J marks one TwoFive’s largest production placements. He just signed to Ronny J’s LISTENUPFOREVER RECORDS earlier this year, so there’s definitely a lot to be expected from him in the future.

Nuri
Production credits on “Ya!”

Described as a “Pro Club producer known for experimental production” on Genius, Nuri has worked alongside multiple talents, among them, Juice WRLD, Chief Keef, iann dior, Denzel Curry and Pouya

Ronny J
Production credits on “Intro,” “ADMIT IT,” and “The Matrix”

Ronny J’s role in cultivating the current Florida sound of rap has been vital, as he’s worked with the likes of XXXTENTACION, Ski Mask The Slump God, Smokepurpp, and Lil Pump in the early days of SoundCloud rap. Him and Ski Mask go back a long way, kicking off a strong working relationship with Ski Mask’s “TAKE A STEP BACK” featuring XXXTENTACION five years ago. While Ronny J’s style usually involves hard hitting 808s and minimal melodies, he diverges from his traditional sound on “Intro,” taking a rather cinematic and experimental approach.

Kenny Beats
Production credits on “Merlin’s Staff”

Kenny Beats has become one of the most celebrated names within the producer community over the past couple of years with his infamous The Cave YouTube series and regular Twitch streams. Kenny Beats produced two of the most successful tracks off Ski Mask’s last album STOKELEY, “Foot Fungus” and “Unbothered.”

John Cunningham
Production credits on “Lost In Time,” and “Mental Magneto”

Oakland, CA native and LA based producer John Cunningham is signed to publishing and management company UNRESTRICTED. He has worked extensively with XXXTENTACION, receiving production credits on massive songs such as “SAD!,” “Moonlight,” “Falling Down,” “Hope,” “Changes,” “Bad!,” while he has also worked alongside artist such as Halsey, Miley Cyrus, and Lil Nas X.

Skipass

Hailing from Moscow, Russia, Skipass has produced for the likes of Lil Keed, Northsidebenji, Houdini, Lil Yachty, Big Baby Tape and many more, with “Fire Hazard” marking one of his biggest placements to date.
