While the song is an uplifting gem, with the two artists showcasing their impressive vocal ranges, we’re here to tell you more about the people behind its impressive production. An all star lineup of talents, Omer Fedi, Blake Slatkin, Charlie Puth, and Cashmere Cat laid the groundwork for the song’s vintage, pop, and punk-rock sonic aesthetic, that imposes a strange mix of euphoria and longing on the listener. These are some of the most acclaimed songwriters and producers in the industry, and they don’t fail to deliver, with a recent instagram post from Blake Slatkin showing the good times everyone had while making “Stay.” 

Omer Fedi

Omer Fedi is a Los Angeles-based guitarist, producer, and songwriter. Originally from Tel Aviv, Israel, and at only 21 years old, Omer Fedi has worked with some of the biggest names within the industry, co-producing massive hits such as Lil Nas X’s “Montero,” 24kGoldn’s “Mood” featuring iann dior, as well as more gems for the likes of Machine Gun Kelly, YUNGBLUD and Landon Cube.

Blake Slatkin

3x RIAA Certified Platinum producer Blake Slatkin has an impressive list of hits under his belt. He executively produced Omar Apollo’s album Apolonio, and has also contributed with production on songs like “You” by Benny Blanco, “Miss Me” by Lil Tecca, and “Bad Energy” by Juice WRLD. The Los Angeles native is mentored by benny blanco and already has an impressive list of accomplishments, so we’re excited to see what else Blake Slatkin produces in the coming years.

Charlie Puth 

Singer, songwriter, and producer Charlie Puth has become a household name over the past few years. His hit song “See You Again” sat at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for 12 weeks. Outside of his solo career, Charlie Puth has produced lots of other hits, such as “Earth” by Lil Dicky and “Dangerous Woman” by Ariana Grande. The 29-year-old has made an enormous impact within the music industry, and isn’t showing signs of slowing down anytime soon.

Cashmere Cat

Cashmere Cat, whose real name is Magnus August Høiberg, hails from Norway. He has landed production credits for a long list of massive names, such as Kanye West, Travis Scott, The Weeknd, Halsey and many more. In 2012, he released his first solo EP Mirror Maru, and followed it up with his first album 9 in 2017. Høiberg’s skills aren’t limited to production alone, as he used to DJ competitively, with his coveted live performances being a spectacle to behold.
