Stwo Breaks Years-Long Hiatus With Ethereal Single, “Go Back”

Stwo has finally made his anticipated return, and it looks like 2023 will be a massive year for the Parisian talent.

Stwo has long cemented himself as one of the most eclectic voices within music production, combining his love for electronic music and hip-hop in lush and intricate ways. It’s been almost 4 years since the iconic producer teamed up with The-Dream to unveil the soothing R&B gem “Enough About Me," and his brand new single “Go Back” ushers in a new era for him.

With “Go Back," Stwo signs with Ultra Records and reintroduces himself by taking listeners on a truly mesmerizing journey. Organic percussion, minimalistic synths and dreamy vocal chops are present throughout the single as the arrangement ebbs and flows from ambient to groovy.

Enjoy “Go Back” below:

While Stwo steps back in the spotlight as a solo artist after almost 4 years by way of “Go Back,” he has been continuously working alongside some of the industry’s most celebrated names as a producer, even before his absence. He was heavily involved in the production of French rapper Lomepal’s album Mauvais ordre,  which was released in late 2022, while having also contributed to records by the likes of Frank Ocean, Jeremih, Roy Woods, Majid Jordan and Nosaj Thing. Look out for more singles from the French pioneer to drop throughout 2023.
