TOKiMONSTA Unveils “Loved By U,” Genesis NFT Drop Via sound.xyz
With more and more artists are embracing the world of NFTs and its countless possibilities, sound.xyz has positioned itself as one of the most influential platforms in the space.
One of the latest artists to embrace the platform and debut within the NFT space is Grammy-nominated TOKiMONSTA, who has established herself as one of the most celebrated and beloved names within electronic music over the past years. Her genesis drop on sound.xyz came in the form of “Loved By U,” just in time before her upcoming performance at Coachella. An uplifting house record, “Loved By U” features an anthemic vocal line from singer and songwriter Morgxn, who TOKiMONSTA met at a Halloween party hosted at Charli XCX's home, as she explains.
“Though the song was written before our society shutdown--it had more meaning during. This song is about the idea of craving touch that feels euphoric and cathartic. After dealing with 2 years of physical separation from our loved ones, this song is a celebration of togetherness and our love for each other,” she continues.
“Loved By U” sold out a total of 100 NFTs at 0.1 ETH each, netting TOKiMONSTA and Morgxn a total of $31,017 at the time of writing.
