VAGABOND DELUXE - jamvvis & DO, the outcast

The VAGABOND DELUXE project was formed by two Montreal based artists, jamvvis and DO, the outcast, bringing together various elements of R&B, Hip-Hop, and Lo-Fi. Pulling on themes from Japanese folklore and storytelling, the album’s five tracks dive in and out of various moods and tones. The track “SAKURA” brings a breezy, spring-like atmosphere with a soft, Japanese vocal sample, while “CASHEWS” is a much heavier track, playing with haunting tones and dark vocals.

VAGABOND DELUXE is meant to act as a sort of prequel to their 2020 album VAGABOND, a 15-track project with a similar flow. Having been friends for almost two years, jamvvis and DO, the outcast’s creative process has become effortless, with each track taking less than 15 minutes to make. Their strong aptitude for collaboration is evident in their music, with their separate music styles meshing seamlessly.
