Who Is Saint Mino?
At only 19 years old, Cologne-born Saint Mino has established himself as one of the hottest producers emerging out of Europe. While most regular kids his age are accustoming themselves with their newfound freedom and responsibilities of college, he is feverishly preparing to move from Berlin to Los Angeles in order to further pursue his buzzing career as a producer.
Saint Mino spent the first five years of his life in Cologne, settling in Munich during his early teenage years after having moved around the country a lot. He was always fascinated by music, and it was only a matter of time before his drums teacher introduced him to making beats. He made his first steps on GarageBand on his mom’s iPad and later on transitioned to Logic, setting the foundations of what would end up becoming a massive career.
Looking up to legendary names such as Swiss-Turkish producer OZ and brotherly duo Cubeatz, Mino quickly started taking beat-making seriously. Even though collaborating with other producers wouldn't result in his first placement just yet, Mino's dedication and talent reached the ears of highly-acclaimed producer and songwriter Frank Dukes. So, at just age 15, Mino would be one of the first producers to work on one of Frank Dukes’ incredible Kingsway sample packs.
Still in school at the time, Mino started building relationships and working with more and more people, most notably Jenius, until he landed his first major placement, producing Russ’ “PARANOID” alongside Jahaan Sweet, Rowan and Boi-1da. From there, he has gone on to co-produce songs for the likes of Roddy Ricch, Don Toliver, Wizkid, Jack Harlow, A Boogie wit da Hoodie and many more, receiving double Platinum status for his work on Roddy Ricch’s Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial, as well as more certifications for Jack Harlow’s Smooth Action (Gold) and A Boogie wit da Hoodie’s Artist 2.0 (Deluxe).
With plans of moving to Los Angeles very soon, Mino is working on a huge assortment of collaborations and placements, with the latest ones being on a number of songs off RAMONA PARK BROKE MY HEART by Vince Staples, who he met last year. 2022 is looking like it will be the brightest year to date in Saint Mino’s career, and we can’t wait to see him continue chasing his goals, grow and establish himself as one of the scene’s greats.
